Women's Yoga and Writing Retreat
I’m delighted to share that I’m collaborating with the very talented Morven of Yoga By Nature to co-facilitate a Women's Yoga and Writing Retreat in mid-Wales the 25th - 28th April 2024. The venue is perfect and we’re curating a fabulous long weekend of introspection and self-care.
Morven's teaching is inclusive, expert and in-depth. She teaches with a respect for traditional yoga and a knowledge of cutting edge movement science. She offers her work in the world with humour, light-heartnedness and compassion.
I’ll be leading the writing workshops exploring our experiences of womanhood and you’ll leave with a memoir draft story or poem chronicling a slice of your life.
My disability and symptoms mean that I can’t do everything I used to do. This year I’ve committed to only saying “yes” to projects centering on yoga and creativity. This retreat promises boatloads of both. And if you’re looking to go a bit deeper with your creativity and a bit further afield, Morven and I are running our We Are Yoga retreat in France again next September.

Lesions Art + Words - out now!
In spring 2022 I took a poetry course with Georgi Gill for people living with MS offered through MS-UK. That course sewed the seeds for Lesions, a literary magazine featuring the art and writing of people living with chronic health conditions. I’m thrilled to announce that the 32-page full color Volume 1 is now available as an eBook and printed copy.

Nourish: Oil Free, Plant-Based Recipes from Around the World
I started this newsletter as a way to share healthy lifestyle tips including mindful movement (yoga or otherwise), a creative outlet, and an anti-inflammatory recipe with each post. I’m delighted to announce that I’m writing a cookbook and the working title borrows directly from this newsletter — Nourish: Oil Free, Plant-based Recipes from Around the World.
All of the recipes (with chapters dedicated to oil-free whole-food plant-based Mexican, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern, British and American cuisines) are oil-free, made with whole-food ingredients and can be made gluten-free as well. I’ve been busy taking photos (in the flat lay style you see above) for all of the recipes and truly appreciate everyone who’s tested recipes and offered feedback. If you’re interested, it’s not too late. Get in touch, I’d love your input!
