6 Months to Overcoming MS
I was so honoree to be asked to contribute to the 6 Months to Overcoming MS virtual course in conjunction with the Overcoming MS charity. I’ve been following the 7-pillars of the program since my diagnosis in 2021 which included a modified Mediterranean diet, Vitamin D supplementation, exercise, stress management, family health and long-term habit change.
My friend and fellow Substack writer
does an amazing job walking course participants through the exercise pillar of the program, while I introduce the meditation/stress management pillar. The course is free and available world wide to anyone with an MS, clinically isolated syndrome or neuromyelitis optica (or those awaiting a diagnosis.)Art + Culture
Menopause Wellness Day
I’m so delighted to be leading a writing workshop at the Yoga By Nature Menopause Wellness Day this Sunday January 28 in Weston-super-Mare in Southwest England. There are a few spots left if you’re in my neck of the woods and want to join. The day will include yoga, hypnotherapy, EFT tapping, a sound bath, and writing workshop.
While I have not yet embarked on this life transition, I’m excited to learn as much as I can and hold space for others to write about womanhood and their experiences, hopes, frustrations, and memories. I’ll also be co-facilitating a Women’s Yoga and Writing Retreat in Wales in April, and a Yoga and Creativity retreat in France in September.
